Aunt Meg spent the week with us as a live-in nanny while Joseph took a summer class.
Joseph had a long week with class from 8-6 every day and work at night. He was trying to catch up on some sleep while visiting with his little Austin.
On Thursday, we took a special trip to the zoo. It rained hard for ten minutes when we got there, which served to cool everything off and run off the other visitors. We had the place to ourself. It was great! This poor zebra is trying to seek refuge from the storm.
The zoo is full of babies this year. We got an upclose view of the baby elephant. Isn't it cute? This newborn weighed over 260 pounds at birth. Wow!
Aunt Meg wants to take this rhino for a ride. I don't think she's going to get anywhere in a hurry.
