Well, Austin was due one year ago today. We can finally consider him a one year old... and guess what! He is finally doing things that you would expect a one year old to do. Yay! Austin is eating table food. He understands when you tell him "no" and he actually obeys... sometimes. He talks jibberish. He claps his hands and waves at himself in the mirror. He spits food at me on purpose and laughs about it. (We try to discourage that habit, but it is quite funny.) He can climb down from the couch successfully... with Mom or Dad close by just in case. He plays peekaboo and chase. He throws temper tantrums... well, that's not really new. We put up our Christmas tree this week, and he just loves it. He has five teeth. We gave him his first hair cut last night... well I snipped it last night, and Joseph repaired it today. He was growing a mullet; something had to be done. This picture was taken while Austin and I were at my parents house. He enjoyed swinging in the back yard. What a big boy!
