Those are big shoes to fill...

Take a look at those beautiful eyes. Austin is almost two years old, and we are still not sure what color his eyes are. At first glance, they look light brown, but oftentimes they look green. They are definitely not as dark as his daddy's eyes, but they are far from his mommy's blue ones. Would they be considered hazel? What do you think?

Toddler Bed Update: Austin has been sleeping in a toddler bed for two weeks now. Most of the time he does well; however, some nights/afternoons are more of a challenge. Lately, we have found him sleeping in the floor beside his bedroom door. Here is a typical bedtime routine: We lay him in his bed with his orange cover, give him a kiss and leave the room with the door cracked. If he is tired, he goes right to sleep without a sound. If he is not tired yet, he immediately slams his door shut and starts playing. I guess he thinks we won't hear him with the door closed. Then he either crawls in his bed and goes to sleep or he lays down on the other side of his door and falls asleep there. One night, Joseph found him asleep on the floor at 3am, but he had crawled in his bed at some point before I got up at 5am. Overall, this transition to a toddler bed has been pretty smooth. I just hope that potty training will be as easy. I think we will wait till next spring to start that process. Austin is not ready quite yet.
