Ok, I need some blog readers' participation on this one

As we get closer to Christmastime, I would like to plan some fun and festive activities for Austin this year.

However, I need some ideas.

Most of you Austin Fans have never made a comment on our blog, and I would absolutely love to hear from you on this. You can post a comment anonymously and don't even have to leave your name if you don't want to.

I'm looking for toddler craft ideas, games, Louisville holiday events and anything else related to Christmas. Fun holiday recipes would be greatly appreciated as well.

I know Austin is still pretty young to get into the holiday spirit, but I still want to make it a fun and memorable time for our family.

Thanks SO much for your help! I will look for those at the store today. I knew you would come through for me! :)

As for your request... I have a yummy cut-out cookie recipe that is a tradition in my family. I am sure he would have fun picking out a cookie cutter and putting it in the dough with mommy's help. I think you would want to be the one to do the moving of the dough to the pan, etc. They can also be decorated with powdered sugar icing/food coloring, sprinkles, anything in the Christmasy-baked goods section. I will try to post it later... we are on our way out the door.

My mom also had a plush nativity scene she got at a craft fair. I don't know if Lifeway or Family Christian would have anything like it or not. You could teach him the Bible story and act it out with his set. (Oh - there is a Fisher Price Little People nativity set... that would work, too. :)

And of course singing and dancing to Christmas carols! :) He seems to enjoy singing so I bet that might be a hit.
