Trip to Bardstown

Joseph and I took a trip to Bardstown, Kentucky this past weekend to celebrate our four year wedding anniversary. We stayed at an excellent bed and breakfast that I would definitely recommend to others. We took a candlelight tour of My Old Kentucky Home and took a walk around the square. The highlight of Joseph's trip was the hour we spent at a local bookstore where he found a copy of Pilgrim's Progress that is over 100 years old. Needless to say, he is thrilled to add this gem to his ever growing library.

We had a wonderful trip and are very grateful that the Beckmans were able to come up and babysit Austin for two nights. He had a blast playing with his aunts and uncle. He has named my mom, "geekamama," which is hilarious. Ben is called "B." He calls Megan, "egg." And Jane sounds like the letter "G." It is fun now that he has names for everyone.
