We took Austin to the doctor's office this morning, and they did a chest x-ray to check for pneumonia and a nose swab to check for RSV. I didn't hear from the doctor's office this afternoon, so I assume that the tests came back negative. We were actually surprised that they wanted all the tests run because Austin seems much better than he did earlier in the week. It's good to be safe though with his history.
It's been a short week for me. I was off on Monday for the holiday, and I don't work Wednesdays, and I'm off this Saturday (and I came in an hour late today because of Austin's doctor appt)... that makes a short three day work week.
Austin really enjoys the peekaboo game now. When Joseph lays his head down in the bed and pretends to sleep (or sometimes is really trying to sleep), Austin peers over at him trying to see him up close. He gets really tickled if Joseph opens his eyes to look at him. Sometimes Austin gets so close that they bump noses. It is really hilarious to watch. I caught Austin playing under the kitchen table the other day, so I lifted the table cloth to see him and he just laughed and laughed. Austin is such a joy to have in our lives.
By the way, check out this website http://www.squidoo.com/preeclampsia..mylittlepeanut/ I started it to benefit the Preeclampsia Foundation. I know that alot of people look at my blog, so if you all would look at this website, the Foundation receives the revenues to support their research. Thanks!
