Prematurity

As most of you all know, Austin was born 11 weeks premature. He spent 72 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit hooked up to oxygen, feeding tubes, and monitors. By God's grace, we were able to bring our little boy home, and he is much recovered.

While Austin was in the hospital, our family was very much impacted by the work of the March of Dimes. They sponsor a walk-a-thon every year to raise money for prematurity prevention and research. Next month, our family is going to participate in this 4 mile walk to show our support for this cause, which is dear to our hearts.
