Heart

Austin has a stuffed Elmo toy with a battery pack inside to make it talk. Well, he has just learned some of his shapes, and he somehow knew that there was a heart inside. (I don't remember ever telling him that. He must have learned by discovery. Such a clever child.) Here is a little dialog we had a few moments ago about hearts.

Austin: "Heart" (Pointing to Elmo's back where you can open him up to take out the battery pack.)

Mommy: "Austin, do you know that you have a heart too?" (Pointing to Austin's chest.)

Austin: "Heart" (He reaches around to point to his back.)

This cracked me up! He thinks his heart is in his back just like Elmo's. I hope he doesn't try to take his out like he does Elmo's.
